About
American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a national, faith-based character and leadership development organization for young women. Designed as a biblical, Christ-centered alternative to traditional youth scouting programs, it pairs girls with adult female mentors to build practical skills, leadership capabilities, and spiritual maturity. Core offerings include:
Badge & Life Skills Program: Offers badge achievements across six frontiers: Heritage, Family Living, Arts, Outdoor Skills, Personal Well-Being, and Science & Technology.
Outdoor Adventure & Camps: Regular camping trips, hiking, survival skills, and high-adventure outdoor activities designed to build self-reliance and teamwork.
Leadership & Rank Advancement: Structured, multi-level progression (Pathfinder through Patriot, ages 5–18) focused on mentorship, servant leadership, and community service.
Biblical Discipleship & Citizenship: Integrates regular devotionals, prayer, and local civic service projects into all group activities
